What is BSCI?
BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), now operating under the amfori association, is a leading social compliance programme for retailers, importers, and brands committed to improving working conditions in their global supply chains. Over 2,500 companies across 40+ countries participate in the amfori BSCI programme.
Independent third-party auditors assess participating factories against the BSCI Code of Conduct, which covers eleven social performance areas including fair remuneration, decent working hours, health and safety, and prohibition of child and forced labour.
Social Audit and Worker Welfare
Our BSCI audit covers all production areas of our factory, including manufacturing floors, packaging areas, and management systems. Auditors conduct worker interviews, document reviews, and facility inspections to assess compliance with the BSCI Code of Conduct.
Our most recent audit results are available through the amfori BSCI platform. Buyers who are amfori members can access our audit report directly, eliminating the need for duplicate factory assessments.
Why European Retailers Require BSCI
Major European supermarkets and retail groups — including those in Germany, France, the UK, and the Nordic countries — require BSCI certification or equivalent social compliance audits as a mandatory supplier qualification criterion.
